C++ Software Engineer Interview Experience - New York, New York

Process

The HR person called and said she would send me an assignment to complete.

An hour later, I received the assignment. It took me two nights to write; it wasn't super complicated, but it was long.

I submitted the code and emailed the HR person that the code was submitted. I didn't get a response for three days, so I emailed the HR person again, and still nothing.

After emailing the HR for the third time, I finally received an answer saying it still needed to be reviewed.

Another week went by, and I pinged her again. Nothing.

After the second time, she finally said that they decided to pass on me.

Honestly, I have never met such a disrespectful HR person. I didn't even get upset about not passing because I would not want to work for such a company.
