All things considered, it's a great place to work
Lots of very bright people, strong commitment to solving hard problems the right way, the best software in the industry. The company's marketing is headed in the right direction (finally got rid of the "Cisco sucks" cartoons).
It's difficult not to be in Sunnyvale. Management can be disengaged from what really matters to customers. The work environment is sometimes less collaborative than would be ideal.
The new marketing message is great, but let's make sure we follow through and do what's necessary to ensure it's acted upon and doesn't ring hollow with our customers.
