Opportunity to work with the best talent and in the latest technology. Flexible working hours.
Poor bonus and hikes. Not a place to work long term if there is no support from a manager. Ambiguous reporting structure. Nepotism in recruitment. I have never seen this before in Juniper. A manager can make or break a career. After working for 8 years, I had to move out because of a lower salary and no promotion.
It is strange that Juniper has the best and worst people. How about market correction as part of a yearly salary hike? Why are long-timers paid less than Juniper salary standards?
Basic and common questions asked about switching, routing, STP, and OSPF. Most of them are standard questions. They asked about scripting, string reverse, and regex to find IP addresses.
The interview process was good. All processes were explained well before. Three to four rounds were conducted. Their product deployment was also discussed. Their work culture was also explained. Overall experience was okay.
1 hour written test. 4 round face-to-face interviews.
