Great talent pool. Super friendly and helpful people. Opportunity to work on latest and greatest networking problems (if you have the right contacts).
It has become all about contacts in Juniper. If you are ambitious and like to grow, then just doing excellent work wouldn't be enough. You must be ready to sing to the upper management tune.
Please devise a better review system. A 360 review for all employees would be nice, especially for managers. I saw multiple people getting promotions despite their really bad performance. This was demotivating and the biggest reason for my departure after working at Juniper for three years.
Talked with the recruiter and then with the hiring manager over the phone. I was invited to an on-site interview, and I was interviewed by 5 different individuals. All technical and no fun.
3 rounds of technical rounds. Start from the basics and go deep into the subject. Specially at the MTS-4 and staff engineers role, applicants must be aware of the architecture of the devices they have worked on. Once the technical rounds are cleared
Interview discussion was systematic and drilling, with more focus on concepts. The difficulty level was medium. The interview process was day-long, with five different rounds. Each round focused on different areas.
