Eight different people conducted the rotatory interviews. Many questions were asked.

I was among the final candidates for the position of QA Analyst. However, I was offered the position of Automation Engineer and given a weekend to consider this new role.

After that, I have no idea what happened. I had to wait almost two to three weeks to get back to them.

To cut the story short, I was ultimately rejected. The stated reason was that the testing and automation I currently perform are not utilized by the company, and therefore, I would not be happy working there.

I highly doubt this reason for rejection. If I hadn't been suitable, I wouldn't have had all those interviews or made it to the final candidate stage.
