Interview process:
For the hiring manager round, have scenarios in mind to answer "tell me about" type questions.
For the API design round: They give you poorly written code and you will have to improve it.
STRONG SUGGESTION: Complete the functional requirements first. Then focus on non-functional requirements. I messed up and spent a lot of time discussing improvements but ran out of time before completing the code. The recruiter mentioned this, and somehow I still didn't get the job.
Based on my conversations, it seems like a great place to work. I would interview again in the future.
API design.
Brush up on best practices.
Quickly get to writing code.
That's what they are looking for.
Keep it simple.
