First, I was reached out to by a recruiter through my LinkedIn profile. An initial call was scheduled, which was a simple introduction.
Second, we scheduled the first technical phone interview. The interview took 45 minutes. Some core Java, microservices architecture, and RESTful questions were asked. Then, the interviewer asked me an algorithm question, for which I provided three different solutions and explained the advantages and disadvantages of each. After that, they modified the question and asked me to write code for the modified version.
Third, there were five back-to-back interviews, each lasting 45 minutes to an hour. Three interviews were with principal engineers, one with a lead engineer, and the last one with the director of technology.
I received the offer after one day. I had also two other offers, but I accepted Lending Club because of the team that I interviewed with and the company culture, which seems to be great.
