A recruiter found my resume in their system and contacted me. I didn't know why the recruiter contacted me, as my resume is not that brilliant.
I have less than 1 year of experience, no intern experience, no portfolio work, no high GPA, no certifications, and not so many projects. Despite this, I simply accepted their interview.
The first interview was a phone interview, where they asked basic situational questions and scheduled a coding interview.
The second interview was a coding interview. A senior developer called me on the phone and used Collabedit for the coding. She asked me some basic CSS/JavaScript knowledge questions for 30 minutes and then gave me a coding question for another 30 minutes.
The experience was good because the recruiter was kind and provided excellent follow-up.
CSS/JS basics:
How do you hide an element on a web page?
How many ways can you compare two objects in JavaScript?
Coding:
Valid number.
