Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Sunnyvale, California
Process
I was initially contacted by a LinkedIn recruiter and had a phone screen last month with two coding questions.
I then had an onsite interview two weeks ago at the Sunnyvale office. The onsite consisted of:
- Two coding rounds
- One system design round
- One deep dive into my resume
- One behavioral question (BQ) round
It was not a very good interview experience, especially for the coding rounds. The interviewers spent much of the time in discussion, and I only had about 10 minutes for coding. I didn't have enough time to finish the problems.
The BQ round felt boring, and I felt the hiring manager was not excited to talk to me.
