Process

The entire process was split into three rounds:

  1. HR Interview: This round is a phone interview with HR. They will ask questions about you, your resume, and your interests to judge if you are a fit for the company.

  2. Coding Round: This round is a phone interview with a Software Engineer. For the first 5 minutes, they will ask about you, your resume, and your interests. Then, they will share a live coding platform link (e.g., Collabedit.com) and display the question there. Once one question is completed, they will display the second question. For each question, they expect you to answer confidently, explaining why you chose your approach, the complexity of the code, whether it handles all cases, and if your code is optimal (and if not, how you can improve it). Do explain your code while typing; this helps them understand your approach and offer guidance if you go wrong. Overall, they want to know if your foundation is strong. In the last minute or so, they will give you an opportunity to ask them questions. Utilize this opportunity to stand out and show you've done your research about the company and the interviewer.

Questions
