The process at LinkedIn is straightforward and thorough.
First, you'll receive a phone call from HR detailing the process and next steps.
Then, you'll have a phone interview with a Software Engineer. They will ask you a couple of coding questions on a shared document. You'll code your solutions and review them with the interviewer. These questions are generally straightforward and simple; consider the corner cases.
If the phone interview goes well, you'll be invited for an onsite interview. (There might occasionally be a second phone screen, but typically there's just the one.)
The onsite portion includes about five different types of interviews and one lunch session to learn more about LinkedIn.
You will receive your results approximately one week after your interview.
I found their process to be very well-organized and highly relevant.
Unfortunately, I did not make it this time, but I will definitely apply again.
For coding preparation, I recommend using LeetCode (consider premium for company-specific questions) and CTCI (Cracking the Coding Interview). Be sure to thoroughly understand your current projects, and if possible, read engineering blogs.
Not sharing questions because of the NDA.
