The process began with a recruiter chat, which was decent.
Next, there was a technical phone screen lasting 45 minutes, involving 2-3 questions and using a shared code editor.
I had a great experience with the recruiter conversation. However, the main issue was that the interviewer for the technical phone screen was incomprehensible. He had me on speakerphone in an echoey room and spoke with a very thick accent. This made it very difficult to hear and understand both the problems presented and his prompts or additional questions.
A coding question that was more of a trick than an algorithmic problem to work through.
