It's hard to leave contract positions
Pre-COVID: free buffet-style breakfast and lunch, as well as a free café and snacks. Also in the Empire State Building, so there was a free pass to the observation deck.
I was kept being told that our contracts would possibly be renewed, then told at the very end we wouldn't be renewed. If they chose to in the future, you needed a 3-month gap between the old and new contract.
No PTO as a contractor.
