Simply wonderful! I applied on their careers website, and a day later, a recruiter reached out. He patiently told me about the company, its goals, its culture, its expectations, et cetera. I was then scheduled for a phone interview.
Phone Interview: Honestly, I was completely stumped during this interview. It was (probably) a Leetcode Medium String question, but I took a long time to complete it. I could solve it in the end, though! My interviewer was helpful; he encouraged me to start coding a solution when I had something half-formed in my mind, hoping it would give me greater clarity. When I went off track, he listened patiently and nudged me towards the right path. By the end, I was mentally done, but the interviewer was cheerful and encouraged me to ask him questions. I was then moved to onsite.
Onsite: There were two coding rounds, one database round, and one system design round.
The interviewers correctly assessed my logical thinking and critical ability with their choice of questions.
