Process

1st Round: Resume Shortlist (Based on GPA) Around 50 students made it to the next round.

2nd Round: Online Assessment Two coding questions were given. The time to solve was 1 hour. Questions were based on stack and trees. Out of 50 students, only 14 made it to the technical round.

3rd Round: Technical Interview The interviewer had 20-25 years of experience. He asked me to give a brief introduction of myself. After which, I was asked to explain one of my projects. Next, I was asked about core fundamentals:

  1. When you enter a URL in the browser, how do the contents of the page (i.e., images and text) get loaded?
  2. Difference between Statement and Prepared Statement?
  3. Write a Select statement query.
  4. What are the SOLID principles in Java?
  5. What is a singleton class? Write the code for it.
  6. Puzzle: Suppose you have 8 identical coins. Out of which, 7 have an equal weight of 1 kg, and 1 coin has a weight of 950 gms. If you have a beam balance, which can be used exactly 2 times, how would you identify the coin with the least weight?
  7. Coding question: House Robber problem from Strivers A2Z sheet. (Dynamic Programming)

Only 8 students were shortlisted and went to the HR round.

4th Round: HR Interview I was asked to give a brief introduction of myself. Questions asked:

  1. Are you open to relocation?
  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  3. Have you faced any conflicts within your team? How do you tackle them?
  4. Did you meet the deadlines in your project?

Only 5 got shortlisted. I was rejected in the HR round.
