Front End Manager Interview Experience - Leesburg, Virginia
Process
The manager called and asked if I could interview as soon as possible. I agreed to be there within two hours of the call.
Met with the manager and assistant manager. Both seemed extremely nice and down to earth.
They did not want to hire me for the manager position, as they had bad experiences with external hires due to the time it takes to learn all of the company procedures. However, they wanted to bring me on board.
They passed my info to the marketing manager, as they felt I would be a good fit in sales due to my previous experience.
All in all, they seemed to be upfront and honest.
They offered me a position, but I turned it down because the pay was not where I needed it to be. I could see myself working for Lowe's in the future if the right opportunity presented itself.
