Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

My interview at Lowe's was very disorganized.

I was contacted by one recruiter, then switched to another recruiter, and never met either of them. No one acted as a liaison between me and the interviewers, so those I met with were awkward to pick me out of the crowd of people in the waiting room.

I was given a schedule beforehand. It said I would meet with two developers, then one HR person. First, they were all late by about half an hour. Also, they switched the order of the schedule. I first met with the HR person and another in an interview that seemed to be more technical than expected. Then, I met with the two developers, who expressed how they didn't like how certain things were done in the company.

I didn't hear from anyone about the interview until about a month later when I got a generic email saying they decided to look elsewhere.
