Process

I got a call through one of the consultants. The job is for a C and Unix position with MySQL preferred.

  1. The first round was a telephonic interview. Questions were asked about memory leaks, how to analyze segmentation faults, and some Unix commands like running a process in the background.
  2. The second round was a face-to-face interview, which was again a technical round. The interviewer asked the difference between static and shared libraries, presented two problems on doubly linked lists, and I wrote the entire code covering all scenarios. Questions were also asked about zombie processes, the nohup command, and how to see library function calls.
  3. The third round was a manager round, where the interviewer asked me about the projects I was working on. He also provided feedback on the technical round.
  4. The fourth round was with US folks. They asked me what I knew about the company, details about my previous employer, and what I wanted to do at Lowe's.
  5. The final round was an HR round. We discussed compensation.

The same day, I received an email to share documents for the offer process.

It has been 2 days since the HR round, and I am waiting for the offer letter.
