I received a phone call from a recruiter who set up an interview with a senior engineer. It was one of the worst interviews I have ever attended. The interviewer only asked about what she knew, rather than what I knew. If you want to ask about things outside of my experience, why would you even call me for an interview?
I wrote an email to HR and stated that they should never call me for an interview again, nor will I apply to a company that doesn't respect a person's experience. Worst company, worst pay, and worst interview process.
At one point, she even said, "You don't even know this at least." I responded, "Can I ask questions from my experience? Let me see if you can answer."
Some information about what only she knew, nothing from the job description nor from my prior experience.
