Process
The hiring process went very smoothly. I was contacted by a recruiter who knew me from before and was able to schedule interviews very quickly.
There was half a day of onsite interviews, mostly including algorithmic and puzzle problems to solve.
Some of them were iOS-specific, but the majority were general problems.
Questions
The question was about the compression algorithm.
Counting letters in a book, assigning them to smallest identifiers, and building a binary tree for quick access to the most used letters.
