Process

Regarding interviews, Lyft offers a more comfortable interview experience compared to other tech peers like Uber, Google, Facebook, and others.

The first algorithmic coding exercise emphasizes a complete and "happy path" working solution.

In-person interviews included:

  • Two System Design rounds: These were straightforward. Practicing LeetCode system design problems would be helpful.
  • One Technical Hands-on Coding round: This was straightforward, without tricks or complex algorithms. The focus was on a complete, working solution. I was unable to complete it due to the need for very fast coding, and I am a slow coder. I'm not sure if it's appropriate to expect everyone to code at a hackathon pace.

Overall, the interview process was smooth, with no complexity and no tricky questions.
