I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks.
Had one over the phone interview, one on Google Meet, and then a 3-hour onsite interview.
The first two interviews were pretty straightforward and focused more on my resume. The onsite consisted of a 1-hour presentation followed by two one-on-one interviews.
The onsite was a different story; I was interviewing for a mechanical engineering position, but they were unreasonably asking me electrical engineering questions, and several times would ask, to frankly put it, stupid questions that had nothing to do with the job I was applying for.
How would you improve the thermal design of this part?
The following metrics were computed from 2 interview experiences for the Mach Industries Mechanical Engineer role.
Mach Industries's interview process for their Mechanical Engineer roles is extremely selective, failing the vast majority of engineers.
Candidates reported having very negative feelings for Mach Industries's Mechanical Engineer interview process.
