Process

I was referred by someone at MathWorks. I had two phone interviews that were mostly non-technical and very relaxed.

They then brought me onsite for a day of interviewing.

I started the day with a presentation on my previous and relevant experience. You WILL need to give a 30-45 minute presentation to the interviewers to kick off the day.

After that, I interviewed with multiple people on the team, including sales, managers, and engineers. Again, most of the interviews were non-technical, focusing on getting to know you. That said, I think having a very strong presentation will lighten your hard question load during the one-on-one interviews.

Following the interviews, I sat down with HR to go over the standard stuff and answer a few behavioral questions and "Why MathWorks" type questions.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, as the entire interviewing team was very nice and a pleasure to meet.

Questions

Standard behavioral type questions and "Why MathWorks?"

Also, "Why are you leaving your current job?" (if you're not coming from college, of course).
