Process

The process begins with a 20-minute phone call or video recording consisting of simple behavioral questions. Within the next week, I heard from HR about scheduling a technical phone interview. Most of the questions are available on Glassdoor.

This was followed by an onsite interview. The onsite interview differs from the technical phone screen in terms of the questions asked. They fly you over a day before the interview, and the next day, the interviews begin around 8:30 AM.

I had a two-hour-long technical interview. Prepare well for the programming and MATLAB sections. You may also be asked to debug MATLAB programs on paper. There was a whiteboard programming question as well.

This interview was followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager, then lunch with two currently working employees. (This is also a type of behavioral interview).

Next was a final interview with HR, featuring simple behavioral questions followed by information on the benefits of joining the company.

Everyone at Mathworks is very friendly, and the company has a very good working environment.
