I was contacted by email after applying online. I underwent a fairly lengthy phone screen, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with questions covering operating systems, C++, and control systems. Following this, I was given the opportunity to ask some questions of my own.
I then waited for an answer regarding whether the process would continue. However, the contact person never responded to my follow-up emails, which I interpreted as a rather rude way of declining my application.
The phone screen itself included some uninteresting trivia, not significantly different from what others have reported. The notable aspect was that the interviewer himself answered two or three questions incorrectly. I chose not to point out his errors, as I didn't want to appear argumentative, but I found the situation somewhat embarrassing.
If a process that allocated memory crashes without releasing it, what happens?
