I just finished the video interview for the position last week. The questions were pretty straightforward:
- Why do you want this position?
- What past experience has prepared you for this position?
- Give an example of when you have had multiple responsibilities and how you handled it.
- Are you authorized to work in the US?
- What is your cumulative GPA?
Each answer had a two-minute limit.
I received an offer for a phone interview, which is scheduled for two weeks from now.

Pros: Work on developing real features that ship with the product through project work.
Manager is more of a mentor and coach versus a boss.
Strong collaboration within the team.
Opportunity to work with customers across many industries.
Strong career development opportunities to develop skills that are applicable for many roles and companies.
Cons: The role is multi-faceted and requires strong technical skills and leadership skills.
The work is not pre-defined, and you must create your personal plan of what projects you want to contribute to.

Pros: Flexibility to let you learn, grow, and do what interests you.
Treats employees well, with benefits, free breakfasts, etc.
Very friendly work environment.
Encourages and provides opportunities for you to participate in passions that are not related to work as well.
Cons: No work from home.
Not the job for you if you are looking to start on day 1; it takes 3 months of training before you start on the job.
