Applications Support Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I just finished the pre-recorded video interview. Some questions caught me by surprise, but the preparation time for each question was enough, so do not panic. Just use your experience and share your true thoughts, and it will be okay. Believe me, do not prepare too much of what to say; cover the key points. You will feel intense when there are only 10 seconds left and you still have like 10 sentences in mind.

Questions

Here are the interview questions:

  • What is your cumulative GPA?
  • What is your work authorization, visa type, and do you need sponsorship?
  • What is your expected graduation time? (They give 60 seconds for answering this question. After two sentences, I have nothing more to say, so I will just click the "end recording" button.)
  • Tell me about a project and why you think it was successful.
  • Why does this position interest you?
  • I somehow remember there are more than 5 questions (not including the two practice questions), but I'm not sure. Perhaps: What past experience will help you in this position?
