Process

I applied online and received an email within a week for a video interview.

An interviewer presented his questions in a short video. The questions were typed below the video window, so there was no need to worry about not hearing them clearly. Candidates had 10 seconds to think about their answer, 20 seconds to relax and smile, and 2 minutes to respond.

There was a test process before the interview to adjust your webcam and microphone. The website also provided two practice questions, which could be repeated infinitely until ready.

There were five questions in total:

  1. Why this position interests you?
  2. What experiences make you a good fit for this position?
  3. Give an example of how you tackled multiple responsibilities.
  4. Are you eligible to work in the US without restrictions? Do you need sponsorship now or in the future? Are you currently on a student visa? When will your OPT start? (Ignore this question if you are a resident.)
  5. Cumulative GPA
