Pros: -- Gained customer perspective on product. -- Received product trainings and the choice of choosing areas to work on. -- Interesting math-related work, though this would change from team to team. -- Good culture, with many smart colleagues.

Cons: Managing communication between a lot of managers in EDG can be challenging. Spending half the time in support will be frustrating, as it's not related to your engineering qualification. There are very little increments or growth. Also, there is often a lot of uncertainty before eventually finding fitting work. I wouldn't recommend it if you are from a software background and uninterested in other engineering domains. There are high expectations on the technical support component.

Pros: Very cooperative and supportive environment. Freedom to choose the project you want to work on as an EDG.
