Process

The interview process began with 5 short video questions.

This was followed by a technical round, which included half logic/math problems and half either coding challenges or MATLAB multiple-choice questions.

Next, there was a 20-minute phone screen with the manager.

The final round was 4 hours long:

  • A 2-hour technical interview covering past projects and a question on a demonstrated interest (in my case, a controls problem).
  • 1 hour with the manager discussing the resume and teamwork.
  • 1 hour with HR.

Questions

Because I interviewed as someone interested in control theory, I will apply a controller to this pendulum to make it stand vertically.
