Engineering Development Group (EDG) Interview Experience

Process

I applied for a full-time position through a referral.

I received an online assessment (90 minutes) and a HireVue video interview (which had to be completed within a week).

The online assessment included:

  • 5 math questions (15 minutes)
  • 2 coding problems

The coding challenges supported several languages but did not include Python, my proficient language. I chose to complete the challenge in Java.

I completed 4 out of 5 math questions due to time constraints and passed all test cases for the 2 coding problems.

After submitting both the assessment and the HireVue interview, I thought I had performed quite well, but I received a rejection after approximately 10 days.
