Pros

The company is well-funded. When it's not a plague year, you get a little office with a door to yourself.

Cons

N.B.: HR encourages employees to write Glassdoor reviews soon after they join, before they realize they've been trapped. Ignore the positive reviews and read the moderate-to-negative ones.

In my experience:

  • The culture is corporate, cut-throat, and pretentious (e.g. coworkers are "colleagues")
  • High pressure, low pay
  • Lots of code (20 million+ LOC), very little documentation
  • High micromanagement, low autonomy
  • Managers will scold you for talking with your teammates about anything not related to your immediate task
  • Managers treat your estimates as commitments
  • It is improper to suggest new ideas unless you've been there several years
  • You'll leave with few transferable skills because all of their tools are custom-made
  • Despite claims to diversity, the workforce is largely Indian
