As per the earlier discussion with the Recruitment team, there were four rounds of interviews. The first round was informed to be focused on problem-solving and Data Structure/Algorithm questions.

My interview started with introductions, and two interviewers were present. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes. The first interviewer was good and mainly asked questions about Dagger.

The second interviewer was very arrogant and asked questions here and there. After 45 minutes, he asked me to share my screen and design an application and an SDK for image loading.

We could not use Glide or any similar libraries. We had to design the whole application with MVVM architecture, including a RecyclerView and the internal design of the entire image SDK.

This type of question is usually given as an assignment, not asked during an interview with live coding in Android Studio.

This should have been communicated beforehand. I found the interviewer very arrogant and did not like the overall interview process. It was clearly unorganized.
