Hi. I am sharing my interview experience that I went through 3 months back.
I was contacted by McAfee HR, who said my profile was absolutely aligned with their requirements.
I went through 6 technical rounds with senior people from the team, including the manager, a principal engineer, and the technical architect of the team. All rounds were good, and the discussions were technically focused.
After clearing all rounds, I got a call from HR in 3 days saying they wanted one more technical interview.
The most "scrapy" thing was that this round was with a junior developer who was a recent college graduate. He was unable to ask questions and wasn't even sure what he was asking. I got rejected.
My advice to management: Please scrap your whole team if you are making a candidate reject based on a college graduate. It doesn't make sense to clear 5 technical rounds and then get rejected. You should cross-check.
The whole team needs introspection.
