I was interviewed by the McAfee Skyhigh Networks team in Hyderabad (Skyhigh was acquired by McAfee) online. I had heard about McAfee and was very excited about this role.

There were 3 technical and 1 higher manager discussion, which was supposed to be followed by an HR round.

From the first 3 rounds, I can say it was fantastic, as they were happy with the domain and coding solutions I provided on shared screen.

In the 4th round, the higher manager was not very polite and questioned my personal choice of changing my technical domain. They said that the HR would call me after the discussion.

A month passed, and there was no call from the HR.

Disappointed (as I was 95% sure of getting an offer), I sent an email to the HR to at least provide feedback (so I could improve in my next interview). To this, I received an apology saying they were busy during the holiday season and would call back.

10 days passed, and there is no call, no minimal courtesy to respond to the interviewees who spent their efforts and time preparing and discussing during the interviews.

So, by this, I got a bad experience of pathetic project management (I felt the work environment must be negative there), and also the recruiter/HR team doesn't care to respond unless they are offering you the role.

They don't seem to carry minimal professional behavior as the designation ladder goes up.

I am negatively impacted by Skyhigh Networks-McAfee people management skills and would not recommend my friends and colleagues to even accept interview discussions with the McAfee-Skyhigh Networks team (Hyderabad/Bangalore). A total thumbs down.

I hope by reading this review, the team won't be wasting another sincere job seeker's time, efforts, and trust on their management.

I'm still a fan of McAfee (maybe other teams), but a big no to this team.
