I applied through the Grace Hopper Conference 2022. The first round was 30 minutes with a recruiter who was really nice, and it was fully behavioral.
Second round was a coding challenge through Hackerrank: 2 LeetCode medium, +2 multiple choice, +1 database question.
Final round was with a Software Engineer Supervisor (she was super nice), mostly behavioral to see if I was culturally fit.
Last round was with a senior engineer (I Googled him and found that he recently joined the company). He was very rude and did not allow me to open the link for code pair (the recruiter gave me the link for live code pair where I could use it during the interview to show my approach or solution).
His approach was to trick me during the whole interview with a lack of empathy. He seemed like he was not interested in my candidacy at all because whenever I explained my solution, he jumped into my explanation and did not let me finish.
Overall, I had a great experience with the recruiters and the software engineer supervisor; they all were super nice, and I really liked the company culture. However, next time, please let a woman engineer interview a candidate from Grace Hopper Conference because I really had a horrible experience in my final round with someone who showed zero interest in my candidacy.
Did I get an offer? I still haven't heard back, so I'm assuming that I've been ghosted as well.
Leetcode-style medium coding question.
