Process

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks.

  • 30 min intro chat with recruiter
  • 1 hour chat about FE concepts (explain React / Redux / Typescript concepts to a junior developer; all stuff from the core concepts docs)
  • 3 hour take home assignment (30 minutes discussing it, 2 hours coding it, and 30 minutes discussing the solution). You basically have to parse 2 JSON files and compare data for "matches" and "mismatches" based on names, phone numbers, etc. that are in different formats (I used fuzzy matching).

There are 3 more steps after this, but I was rejected even though I mostly solved the problem.
