Pros
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Great internal tools for productivity
  • Helpful internal community
  • Still quite a transparent culture, with an overload of information.
Cons
  • Becoming very political, aligning with the right leader is key to growth and longevity.
  • Mid-level managers use internal posts as a measure of productivity, creating a popularity contest culture and a lot of posts about nothing.
  • Reorgs happen every ~6 months; learn to be fluid and live in constant change.
  • Cost-cutting is now a company focus. A lot of benefits have been cut or reduced.
Advice to Management

I hope that the C-suite can recognize the growing culture of internal politics taking over, which is causing some very high performers to be marginalized because they are simply with the wrong org leader. The calibration process can be rigged through years of nepotism and "empire" building by org leaders.
