The interviewer basically drilled down my resume, as it was filled with data science and related projects. A simple Python program was also expected. There was an initial screening round where topics such as aptitude, Python programming, basic statistics, and ML concepts were covered.

Write a Python program to calculate simple interest, given the user types all the related data in a single string: "5000 principle, 5% rate annually, 4 years and 6 months"?
