Arrived for the interview 15 minutes before the scheduled time. I even had time to look around. The place looked a little worn and rundown. The nearby row of shops also looked like it needed some renovation. The process was the norm. The HR staff came to collect my documents and gave me a test sheet, which I was given 10-15 minutes to fill in. The interview was with 2 hiring managers. They seemed very friendly and affable and sounded sincere to hire fresh grads like me.
What is the Micron brand that is better known to consumers?
The test sheet included several questions. The ones I remembered more vividly were the two pulldown networks of nMOS (they did not state it was an nMOS, though), and I was asked to fill in the gate function of it (which are the usual NOR and NAND circuits).
Also asked in the test was: What is the amount of memory accessible by a Win7-32bit and 64-bit? And if the DRAM used was changed from a DDR2 to DDR3.
Also in the test: Describe Moore's Law, Ohm's Law, and Murphy's Law.
