I interviewed with Micron Technology (Singapore) for a Machine Learning Manager position. I completed two rounds before they went silent on the outcome.
Round 1: Zoom call with the Hiring Director. Technical and formal discussion on case study and project experience from the past.
Round 2: Take-home exercise to complete a DS case study and programming using Python or a language of choice.
After submitting the solution for the take-home exercise, there was no further communication from HR or the hiring manager. Somehow, I felt it was more of a time-pass activity for them to waste candidate time. I would suggest streamlining your hiring process and being open with the candidate about the situation (if hiring is frozen or if not selected) – at least for those who progressed to the later stages of the interview.
Overall, a very negative experience, and I would avoid this company in the future.
