This position I interviewed for is for a Singapore location. There was an online test for 5 hours.
Later, I got shortlisted, and there was an hour-long interview.
I received a call after 3-4 days from HR, and they sent an email asking for salary slips and my expected salary.
Once I mentioned the expected salary, they didn't get back until 2-3 weeks. I asked for feedback after that, and then they responded, saying my expected salary was too high.
Apparently, they want candidates from India who have experience of more than 7 years and who can come for 7-8K Singapore dollars (~47 lacs INR).
People with that experience get that amount in India itself. They want very cheap candidates. If the cost of living is 4 times more than in India, how can any candidate come for a similar salary to that of India?
