Pros

Good flexibility in some teams, and good if you want to just relax, don’t care about growth, and can get by with just the bare minimum of work.

Cons

Growth is pretty slow, and a boot-licking culture and employees who can blindly follow their management are more appreciated and promoted. Good talent and honesty are not appreciated. Discrimination is real, equality is non-existent, and honest opinions are often suppressed.

There is poor management and recognition of existing employees. Timely recognition and promotion are non-existent, and the company would pay better to new employees than existing ones at the same level. Many employees are resorting to moving out for a short time and coming back at a better position.

There is a heavy shortage of good engineers, and the manager-to-engineer ratio is pretty skewed and getting worse. There are more managers in any meeting than engineers who perform any actual work.
