Pros

Good enterprise campus and decent baseline compensation and benefits.

Exposure to modern testing frameworks and semiconductor domain challenges.

Great peers and colleagues at the IC, which is individual contributor, level.

Cons

Hostile Team Environment: The day-to-day culture within the QA CoE at the Hyderabad site is severely impacted by aggressive, unprofessional management. Yelling, belittling team members, and public berating are normalized rather than addressed.

Extreme Micromanagement: Zero autonomy or trust in engineers. High pressure coupled with micromanaging every single deliverable leaves no space for technical innovation.

Leadership Indifference: Center and site leadership completely turns a blind eye to toxic behavior from front-line managers. Multiple escalations and concerns lead nowhere, and complaints are swept under the rug to protect favorites.

Mental Health Toll: The workplace creates constant stress and dread. Leaving the organization felt like escaping an unhealthy, suffocating environment rather than just switching a job.

Advice to Management

Hold line managers accountable for their conduct. Professional respect should not be optional in a global tech company.

  1. Address toxic behavior directly instead of shielding aggressive managers.
  2. Listen to exit feedback objectively, and attrition in QA CoE will continue unless leadership genuinely prioritizes employee well-being over unchecked managerial ego.
