Pros: Great peers, fun collaboration, and legitimately interesting technical problems. Good career growth opportunities, decent compensation.
Cons: Tech leadership direction is reactive. Tech debt projects get half addressed then cancelled, which leaves things worse than not starting.

Pros: The engineering talent is very strong. We are given the time to solve problems well and face plenty of interesting problems on a daily basis. Supporting tools are good.
The 5-week vacation time standard is very generous. The NYC office is very active, but it's also easy to work remotely. Being remote does not block your pathway to promotion to any level, including to upper management.
Cons: The emphasis on code quality can mean long code review cycles.
Agile roadmap planning processes mean that we rarely know what we're working on for more than a few months in advance, so you have to be flexible.
