Cons: Over the last 12-18 months, with the addition of new leadership (either new hires or internal promotions) and as the company grew rapidly, the once healthy, intellectually honest culture seems to have been eroded. The company appears to be engaging in silent layoffs, effectively managing people out via its Performance Improvement Reviews. The pattern seems to be the following: * Targeting jobs for elimination * Giving the employee an, often unjustified, low performance review * Setting impossible goals via the PIP, leading to either resignation or firing.

Pros: This company is a reference in the DBs world. It develops the most popular DB nowadays. It is able to move fast and innovate. Transparency.

Cons: We can still improve the work processes, but you can say that of every other company.

Pros: Smart and friendly people. High visibility within the industry. Company culture. Recognition and compensation.

Cons: Workers outside the US are not getting the full benefits package, yet.
