Then, there were six technical interviews:
- Four 1-on-1s with engineers from the team.
- Two with a lead engineer and a manager.
Something interesting is that the questions were related to the daily job (software design, designing JSON class hierarchies, etc.) and included some data structure and algorithm questions (binary trees, stacks, sliding windows, etc.).

Pros: 1. Great product and not a huge amount of tech debt.
2. Great team members.
3. Very interesting problems to solve.
4. Not so stressful if you know how to handle yourself.
Cons: 1. You need to be extremely independent to have success at MongoDB. Nobody is going to tell you what to do or how to do it. You need to figure it out yourself. (Although this is a pro for me, this might not be necessarily true for everybody).
2. Teams are dislocated everywhere in the world. If you happen to be part of one of those teams, you need to sharpen your communication skills.
