Process
I interviewed for MongoDB in Dublin in March 2022.
The first interview was a quick call with a recruiter from NYC.
The second interview was a take-home assessment designed to evaluate knowledge of Design Patterns and Unit Testing.
There was one more round, but I did not make it past the second round.

Great culture and place to work!
Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee
Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
February 1, 2023
Pros: 1. Great product and not a huge amount of tech debt.
2. Great team members.
3. Very interesting problems to solve.
4. Not so stressful if you know how to handle yourself.
Cons: 1. You need to be extremely independent to have success at MongoDB. Nobody is going to tell you what to do or how to do it. You need to figure it out yourself. (Although this is a pro for me, this might not be necessarily true for everybody).
2. Teams are dislocated everywhere in the world. If you happen to be part of one of those teams, you need to sharpen your communication skills.
