The worst interview of my life. It was just a screening interview, and the interviewer asked so many personal questions, about my life and finances, that were unrelated to the job.
I felt incredibly awkward and uncomfortable and didn't know how to respond. I tried to smile and answer naturally, even though I wanted to end the interview. I tried to remain polite and professional.
I worried they might ask me for the next round, but thankfully, they didn't.
I guess the Korean recruiter wasn't very professional. I don't think he should have asked those questions, even if he was curious. It's just not professional.
I also interviewed with MongoDB a while ago with the NA team, and they weren't like that. I'm not sure if it's a Korean thing.
It was truly the worst interview experience I've ever had.
Questions
He asked me, 'Tell me about your life after graduation.'
Name at least five customer companies that I supported in my previous job.
The recruiter asked me how I could survive financially when I wasn't working.
