Had a great summer working on a really interesting project. The people here are very smart and helpful, and I definitely felt challenged. Hours were good (10-6), and the other intern events they had throughout the summer, including a speaker series about once a week with senior members of the company, were fun. I stayed in the provided NYU housing, which was just OK, but a bunch of the interns lived there, so it was pretty fun overall. Pay is very competitive, and they are open about the job offer process for rising seniors.
It seemed like the non-engineering interns didn't have as great of an experience. The company is growing quickly, and there was some reorganization and layoffs during the summer, which kind of gave the impression that the company is a little unstable.
Basic data structure runtime questions and DSA quirks, followed by code for two problems. It was a one-hour interview, where I had to fully explain my thought process at each stage. They wanted to understand what I was thinking before letting me code
It was a great experience. They were very communicative and kind. I loved my recruiter because they made sure I felt supported and followed up consistently. I would highly recommend applying.
I had only a 30-minute online call with HR. It mostly consisted of behavioral questions and a single technical question about programming languages. I did not get past this interview, but the recruiter was very kind and honest. I appreciate that Mon
